La Loma Neighborhood had a blast hosting the 3rd Annual Pollinator Festival at the Native Plant Garden, located at 1801 Encina Avenue. There were several booths throughout the Garden representing many local organizations and agencies to educate attendees on natural resources, conservation, and the importance of pollinators. The Festival was kicked off with the Children’s Pollinator Parade, with kids adorned in pollinator costumes parading through the garden. Throughout the day there was live music, activities, seminars on pollinators, and food trucks available. This free family-friendly event is made possible by contributions to La Loma Neighborhood, and special thank you to the volunteers from our local highs schools who helped set up!
